家具職人だった祖父が作ってくれた木馬に揺られながら、
想像の中で旅を楽しんでいました。

派手なデザインではなかったけれど、
職人の手仕事が感じられるロッキングホースにまたがり、
絵本やテレビで見た訪れたことのない景色を思い浮かべながら旅する時間は、
幼い私にとってワクワクする楽しみでした。

揺らぎの中にある安心感。
動かないのに、どこへでも行けるような自由。
そんな静かな“旅”の記憶が、大人になった今、乗馬で感じる風と重なります。

馬の背から見える景色、全身で受け止める風、駆ける爽快感。

あの木馬はもうないけれど、
あの頃の想像が、今、現実となって体の中を駆け抜けていく瞬間、
